Nintendo Switch 2 specs: This system from Nintendo is stronger than you think.
The Nintendo Switch 2 might be coming out as early as this week, and it looks like it will be as powerful as the Xbox Series S.
We now know more about Nintendo’s next device. There are rumors that the Nintendo Switch 2 will come out in 2024, and a lot of information is starting to get out. In fact, Nintendo showed off the console behind closed doors at Gamescom. The latest story gives us more information about its specs, especially how it stacks up against the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
The editor of the Brazilian site Universo Nintendo says that the new system will come with 12GB of RAM.
The Xbox Series S only has 10GB of RAM, so this is more than that. The PS5 and Xbox Series X both have 16GB of RAM.
Nintendo reportedly showed off the power of the Nintendo Switch 2 by running The Matrix Awakens on it along with a modified version of Breath of the Wild.
People also think that the Nintendo Switch 2 will have Ray-tracing technology, which will make the lights and shadows better.
The Matrix Awakens test for the Nintendo Switch 2 was released to show off Unreal Engine 5. It is said to have been running on DLSS 3.1 instead of DLSS 3.5 on the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
According to an earlier story from the Chinese website MoneyDJ, Hongzhun is making metal cases for a console that will replace the Nintendo Switch.
Reports say the console will cost $399 when it comes out, which is $100 more than the Switch’s original price when it came out in 2017.
There will also be an LCD screen on the Nintendo Switch 2 instead of the better OLED screen. Many people think that Nintendo’s choice to use an LCD screen was an attempt to save money.
Lastly, court papers from Microsoft say they think the Nintendo Switch 2 will come out in 2024.
