We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: the best time of year to save a ton of money on tech is on Amazon Prime Days. Amazon’s next 48-hour savings event, Prime Big Deal Days, is even better than the company’s October Prime Day tech offers, with Apple Watches, MacBooks, iPads, and AirPods already up to $500 off. Even while Prime members will get access to exclusive bargains on the days of the sale (October 10 and 11), those who aren’t Prime members (like me) can still take advantage of early offers that are currently running.
The 2021 MacBook Pro is presently $500 discounted, so take note if you’re in the market for a new computer. You’ll pay more for that model since it has more storage space, but it’s worth it because you’ll never need more than a terabyte again. Or, if you’re in the market for new headphones, the second-generation AirPods are currently on sale for just $99 (hey, budget! you may listen to that true crime podcast without worrying about your battery dying before the end of the day.
You won’t want to miss these Apple sale deals, whether you’re buying for a gift or just to treat yourself (you deserve it!). The truth is that we anticipate these discounts to be on par with Black Friday prices, given that Apple never holds Black Friday specials. Spend less time-fighting crowds and more time relaxing by starting your holiday shopping early.
AirPods Sales for Prime Day in October
Apple’s highly sought-after earbuds, AirPods, provide excellent battery life (all day playtime! ), a variety of fit options, and effortless switching between linked Apple devices. If you’re in the market for wireless headphones, now is the time to buy. This is true whether you go for the ultra-modern and fashionable AirPods Max or the tried-and-true AirPods (2nd Gen). (P.S. The Lightning AirPods Pro is currently on sale, but the USB-C version has been going on sale to match the Lightning AirPods Pro’s price.)
Macintosh Prime Day Sales for October
As of this writing (2023), the 2021 MacBook Pro is $500 off, making it one of the finest prices Apple has offered. The 2020 MacBook Air is $100 less expensive now at $899, so it’s our top recommendation for those seeking for a budget-friendly laptop. The 13-inch MacBook Pro offers the best of both worlds, with the portability of the Air and the processing power of the Pro. There are a variety of choices for economizing, depending on factors like available space and the distance traveled between home and the office.
iPad Sales for Prime Day in October
I cannot speak highly enough of my iPad Air. It’s more portable than my MacBook because it’s smaller, thinner, and lighter. iPads are convenient when you’re on the go and can’t use your laptop, such as when you’re traveling or commuting. You won’t even notice that you’re carrying the iPad Mini with cellular connectivity (which is currently $170 off) because it’s so small and light.
Apple Watch Prime Day Deals in October
Both the GPS and GPS+Cellular versions of the Apple Watch are already available for purchase, making it easy to jump into the wearables market or upgrade from an older model. My favorite feature of my GPS+Cellular watch is that I can leave my phone at home when I go for runs, to the gym, or anywhere else. The Series 8 and Series 7 are the most heavily discounted, with the Series 8’s temperature sensor making it possible to monitor your ovulation cycles in the early hours of the night if you wear the watch while you sleep.
